Welcome

Beginning Friday, October 10, the library starts a weekly Bring Your Own Baby program. Care givers are encouraged to bring infants 18 months and younger to join us in song, nursery rhyme, puppetry and more in this untraditional story time. Babies will be sitting on their adult’s lap on the floor during this program. The ½ hour will include a song & instrument time, to encourage stretching and rhythm. There will be a short book read to the babies with tactile experience to compliment the story.

Research has shown us that it’s never too early to start reading to your children. Not only will newborns benefit from fresh vocabulary & a change of scenery but those caregivers tending to infants will find support from each other in this weekly group.

FYI: The new bathroom in our meeting room now has a changing table.
